Scope:

This Standard specifies requirements for 1.Concrete paving slabs manufactured from hydraulic cement concrete to be used in the construction of pavement and roof coverings. It includes units with architectural finishes or tactile surfaces.

2.Concrete pavers manufactured from hydraulic cement concrete to be used in the construction of pedestrian and vehicular traffic areas.

Project need:

To support innovation in the field of precast concrete paving elements by providing requirements for the construction/installation/use of concrete paving elements in the Canadian context.
