Scope:

CSA A23.4-09 covers concrete pre-cast in manufacturing plants which is shipped off-site, i.e. bridge or large commercial building construction. A sister standard – A23.1-09/A23.2-09 - Concrete Materials and Methods of Concrete Construction/Test Methods and Standard Practices for Concrete – provides the same specifications for residential concrete, which is primarily ready-mixed concrete for new construction, renovations and repair work.
