Scope:

This Standard covers plumbing fittings, including the following:

a) automatic compensating valves other than those for individual wall-mounted showering systems;

b) solenoid valves;

c) temperature-actuated in-line mixing valves;

d) thermal expansion relief valves; and

e) trap primers

Project need:

To update the current standard due to user experience/feedback/new technology. This proposed New Edition is being developed at the request of B125 Technical Committee. It will provide the industry with a standard for the manufacture of plumbing fittings.
