Scope:

This Standard applies to Photovoltaic Rapid Shutdown Equipment and Photovoltaic Rapid Shutdown Systems, that

 

(a) form part of an inverter, converter, interconnection system or are stand-alone equipment;

(b) have a rated voltage not exceeding 1500V; and

(c) are for commercial, industrial, and residential indoor and outdoor use in non-hazardous locations, in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code Part I.
