Project Need
To facilitate paramedic services in continually updating and monitoring response vehicles and/or equipment to maintain the best level of protection for the public, patients and paramedics. The Standard will identify the minimum human factors/ergonomics design and usage requirements for emergency response vehicles and equipment with consideration to paramedic and patient safety and infection control. This project has been the result of consultation with the paramedic community.
