Scope

1.1  This Standard applies to Multi-Circuit solid-state lighting controls rated at 600 V and less intended for installation in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, with or without integral switching (disconnecting) devices and designed to be used as standalone system controlling:

(a) incandescent lamps;

(b) fluorescent compact florescent, and electric discharge lamps

(c) Inductive (motor) loads

(d) HID (pilot duty) and electronic ballasts
