This part of CSA E60598 specifies requirements for recessed luminaires to be installed and used on branch circuits not exceeding 600 V and used in accordance with the rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. It also specifies requirements for recessed air-handling luminaires for use with heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning systems in accordance with the National Building Code of Canada.
