This part of CSA E60598 specifies requirements for ground recessed luminaires incorporating light sources to be installed and used on branch circuits not exceeding 600 V and used in accordance with the rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.  

Project need:

To alignment with international requirements. This proposed New Standard is being developed at the request of ICLP CSA Technical Committee. It will provide the industry with updated requirements for ground recessed luminaires
