Long-term Management of Radioactive Waste and Irradiated Fuel
Scope:
The N292.6 standard will supplement and complement the existing series of N292 standards. With the addition of this standard, the management of radioactive waste and irradiated fuel will be addressed through its life cycle: from the time the material is generated, through its short-term management including processing and interim storage, the transition to long-term management, long-term management, and finally disposal (where applicable)
