Scope

This standard specifies the characteristics of outdoor public and non-public fueling
Liquefied Natural Gas Fueling Stations (LNGFS) that dispenses Liquefied Natural Gas
used as fuel to fill land vehicles equipped with an onboard storage container(s). The
LNGFS is defined as an integration of liquefied natural gas supply, storage and
dispensing subsystems. LNGFS performance is measured at the dispenser nozzle outlet:
the interface between the station and vehicle.
