Intelligent Building System Objective Code
Scope:
This Code specifies objectives to provide for the safety, security and privacy of persons and/or property against dangers and damage that can arise from the implementation of an intelligent building system. In addition, this Code sets objectives for the protection of property against damage, if the damage can lead to unsafe events or conditions for persons and livestock.
This Code is intended to specify safety, security and privacy objectives for the following criteria in relation to an intelligent building system:
(a) Design;
(b) Selection of equipment;
(c) Erection and verification;
(d) Operation and maintenance;
(e) Physically inter-connected systems operations; and
(f) Logically inter–connected systems operations.
