Impedance Heating of Pipelines and Vessels - General, Testing, Marking, and Documentation Requirements
Scope:
This standard applies to general, testing, marking, and documentation requirements for impedance heating systems rated up to and including 80V and 105°C (max) impedance secondary insulated conductor insulation temperature. These heating systems are intended for installation in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I (CE Code); NFPA 70, National Electrical Code® (NEC®) in the U.S.; or with any other national electrical installation code, as applicable. This standard covers impedance heating installations in ordinary and hazardous locations. Requirements for transformers, power distribution and controls components of impedance heating systems are not included
