Scope:

Preparation of standards for self-contained gas-burning, heating appliances which direct a substantial amount of their energy output in the form of infrared radiant energy into the areas to be heated.  Such appliances shall be attached to permanently fixed gas piping systems.  The standards shall not encompass industrial process burners
