This Standard specifies the minimum requirements for workplace first aid kits. It is intended to be used by occupational health and safety (OHS) regulators, manufacturers, and distributors of first aid kits, organizations, and other interested workplace parties.

Project need:

A new edition of Z1220-17 Workplace First aid kits; the anticipated impact of this Standard is to harmonize workplace first aid kits, across Canada to help reduce barriers to interprovincial trade and labour mobility.
