Fenestration energy performance/User guide to CSA A440.2:19, Fenestration energy performance
Scope:
The scope of this project is to update the A440.2/.3 Standard, specifically after three Working Groups complete their work respectively on:
- Condensation: A Working Group was created to review the language of A440.2/.3 and look at how we reference NFRC 500.
- LEAFF: A Working Group was established to discuss referencing this new method in the A440.2/.3 based on implementation of the LEAFF program in the next issue of NFRC 100. The working group shall verify if Energy Star has enforced that simulations have to be conducted by NFRC Certified Simulators and they will consider the challenge of educating Canadian Simulators not involved in ENERGY STAR.
- ER: This includes review of NRC Data, statement of work, including how it impacts our standard.
