Scope:

Prepare an Existing Building Commissioning Standard addressing the efficiency of all energy and domestic water related building systems for Part 3 buildings, that builds on existing building commissioning standards and guides either recommended by TC or TSC members referenced in other documents such as:

 

• NRCan CanmetENERGY — Recommissioning Guide — For Building Owners and Managers • ASHRAE — Guideline 0.2-2015 Commissioning guidelines for existing building systems and assemblies • BCA Best Practices in Commissioning Existing Buildings

 

Project need:

To support innovation in the field of building energy performance by ensuring that the energy efficiency measures as designed and constructed are realized through the quality assurance attributes of the standard, and the on-going monitoring and verification test procedures
