This Standard provides requirements for the prediction, production, monitoring and control of vibrations created during construction projects. Parameters include Peak Particle Velocity, zone of influence, public consultation and complaint process, and mitigation.

Project Need
To provide guidance to practitioners, to promote safe construction practices in relation to construction vibrations, to mitigate the frequency and risk of property damage and/or perceived property damage, and to facilitate adoption of uniform requirements by Canadian jurisdictions.
