Scope:

This Standard contains requirements for the material, design, manufacture, marking, and testing of
serially produced, refillable Type HGV2 containers intended only for the storage of compressed
hydrogen gas for on-road vehicle operation.

Project need:

To update the current standard based on industry developments and additional test requirements. This proposed New Edition is being developed at the request of the Technical Committee. It will provide the industry with updated requirements.
