The goal of the guideline is to provide methods for modellers that result in an accurate as possible energy model. This goal can best be achieved if the guideline is a ‘living document,’ changing and growing as increasing amounts of information and better modeling methods become available

Project Need
A technical building energy modeling guideline/standard that could assist building design professionals to perform energy simulation to optimize the performance in new and existing buildings and to demonstrate code compliance with a Canadian code, such as the Energy Step Code or the NECB.
