Scope:
This standard contains safety requirements for the material, design, manufacture and testing of automatic valves used in gaseous hydrogen vehicle fueling stations. It applies to newly manufactured
pneumatically actuated valves, check valves, excess flow valves, and electrically actuated valves. This standard does not apply to hydraulically actuated valves, pressure regulating valves, pressure relief valves or fueling nozzle valves as covered by SAE J2600, or ISO 17268
