Scope:

This part of the lEC 60320 sets the dimensions for appliance couplers for two poles and two poles with earth contact – for the connection of electrical devices for household and similar onto the mains supply and

– for the interconnection of the electrical supply to appliance or equipment
– and dimensions for gauges.

Clause 1 by replacing the first sentence with the following:

CSA-C22.2 No. 60320-3/UL 60320-3 sets the dimensions for appliance couplers for two poles and two poles with earth contact

This amendment is to update requirements the current standard at the request of industry.
