Scope:

1.1 This standard applies to a mixture of organic liquids  for use as a solvent  or thinner for coatings  formulated  with vinyl resins.

1.2 The  thinner is intended  for use in reducing  vinyl anticorrosive  primers  and vinyl antifouling  paint conforming  to CAN/CGSB-1.122 and CAN/CGSB-1.123 respectively.

1.3 The testing and evaluation  of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment  that could be hazardous.
