This method describes a procedure for evaluating the resistance of textile fabrics to snagging.

 

The method is particularly applicable to double knit fabrics which contain 100% textured filament yarns, such as nylon and polyester and from such filament yarns combined with spun yarns.

 

This test method may not be suitable for lightweight open construction fabrics
