Structural Design of Glass for Buildings
Scope:
This standard describes the procedures recommended for the structural design of soda-lime glass for use in buildings including windows, glass doors, balustrades, partitions and sloped glazing.
1.2 This standard does not cover structural detailing, construction or special applications such as the design of greenhouses (Appendix A) and fire resistance barriers.
1.3 This standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous. This document does not purport to address all the safety aspects associated with its use.
