Scope:

1.1 This standard applies to flat rigid plastic sheeting intended to provide a safe type glazing material in building construction. It shall be manufactured to prevent or reduce the likelihood of injury to persons by plastic fragments when the plastic is cracked or broken by accidental human impact or by objects from the exterior.

Withdrawal due to lack of funding to support the maintenance of the standard.
