Scope

This National Standard of Canada applies to flammability and labelling requirements for tents that are subject to the Hazardous Products (Tents) Regulations under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.  This standard defines terms and establishes performance requirements and test methods for the evaluation of tents.  This standard specifies requirements for safety warnings and safe use instructions of tents.
