This standard sets out requirements for designing, manufacturing, and marking UN Standardized drums, jerricans, boxes, bags, combination packaging and composite packaging (UN Standardized small containers) and for selecting and using small containers for the transportation of dangerous goods in Class 3, 4, 5, 6.1, 8 and 9.
