Scope
  1. Purpose 
    This standard specifies the requirements regarding good work-family balance (WFB) practices tai-lored to the characteristics and realities of organizations and their employees. This standard aims at promoting WFB as an integral part of an organization’s management of human resources.
  2. This standard applies to all types of organizations (private, public and other) seeking to implement and maintain WFB measures and practices that match the needs expressed by both employees and organizations.

                      NOTE — Organizations can thus demonstrate their commitment toward WFB, while employees can recognize organizations that adhere to them.

    This document was developed to serve as a reference document for conformity evaluation activities of specific measures and practices.

                      NOTE — Conformity evaluation is defined as the systematic examination of the extent to which specific requirements are fulfilled.
