The purpose of this standard is to establish the requirements for dimensions, characteristics and test methods relating to PVC plastic rigid perforated pipe and fittings used for underground gravity disposal of wastewaters. This standard applies to rigid pipe and fittings with smooth interior wall, generally equipped with sockets for solvent cement assembly. It is specifically applicable to rigid pipe and fittings used for treating septic tank. Wastewaters by soil percolation.
