This standard specifies the characteristics and test methods applying to unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U) socket ended pipe and injection moulded elastomeric gasketed fittings having nominal diameters of between 100 mm and 900 mm, for use in drinking water systems and designed for pressurized water supply and distribution.
