PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This document specifies the procedure for the dynamic cone penetration test used to determine the penetration index Nc in a vertical drilling.


This test is used during geotechnical investigations for the purpose of determining the resistance profile of a soil to cone penetration.

The results of the systematic review established that the document could be reaffirmed.
