Purpose

This method aims to determine the respiration rate of compost by respirometry.

Scope

This method applies to compost from different sources used as organic soil conditioners.

 

Project need:

In the course of committee work on the revision of another related standard, committee members raised several issues that led to the need for a revision rather than a renewal.
