Onsite Residential Wastewater Treatment Technologies
Scope:
This standard applies to onsite residential wastewater treatment technologies used to treat waste-water from isolated dwellings.
It is neither the intention of this standard to establish the performances requirements of onsite wastewater treatment technologies designed for water reuse nor those used for other buildings that may be considered as similar to isolated dwellings, such as service stations, restaurants, etc.
This standard does not cover the part of a treatment system used for the distribution and disposal of the treated effluent coming from an onsite residential wastewater treatment technology.
