Purpose and scope:

The standard defines the organizations ‘requirements to reach the seventeen sustainable development goals of the United Nations (UN). The standard, intended for administrators and accountants, provides a list of clear sustainable development indicators and detailed implementation strategies that enables any organization planning on structuring and improving its sustainability performance.

Project need:

Project Need
Public and private organizations as well as enterprises want to improve their sustainability performance. This standard, that may lead to a certification, meets this need by providing a list of indicators and implementation strategies based on the UN’s goals.
