This standard specifies the features of the agricultural limestone as well as the criteria and test methods allowing their verification.
This standard also specifies the traceability requirements in order to ensure that agricultural limestone cannot be mixed with other products.
SCOPE
This standard applies to mineral substances mainly composed of calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, exclusively resulting from the pulverizing or grinding of limestone, and intended for an agricultural use aimed at neutralizing soil acidity.
This document has been developed to serve as a reference document as part of conformity assessment activities of the targeted products.
NOTE — The assessment of the conformity is defined as the systematic review of the level of satisfaction of a product with regards to the specified requirements.
