This TIL provides basic requirements forswitches for tools contained in standard C22.2 No. 61058-1 supplemented with additional construction and test clauses to address specific requirements for those switches used in portable/transportable portable / transportable power tools, and gardening machinery in
accordance with the Standard for Hand-Held Motor-Operated Electric Tools.
