The Standards Council of Canada (SCC) has released its 2014-2015 Annual Report Strengthening, Leading, Delivering Value to Canada. The report illustrates SCC’s role as the leader of Canada’s standardization network and explains why standards matter. It also demonstrates SCC’s ongoing innovative approaches that continue to deliver value to Canadians.

In 2014-2015, SCC focused on key initiatives that helped reduce barriers to trade nationally, regionally and internationally.  SCC also promoted innovative standardization solutions that made a difference to Canadian consumers and supported the industries that drive Canada’s economy. The Annual Report further describes SCC’s international involvement. This work advances Canada’s priorities through global collaboration, increases business opportunities for Canadian companies and builds capacity for emerging nations.
