Standard Carbon Inc. is the First Company in Canada accredited to the ISO 14065:2020 GHG Standard
Winnipeg, MB, Canada – April 7, 2022 – Standard Carbon Inc., a Greenhouse Gas Verification Validation Body developing technological solutions for environmental assurance, announces that as of March 2022, Standard Carbon has been accredited as a GHG Validation and Verification Body under ISO 14065 by the Standards Council of Canada.

Standard Carbon is the first GHG verifier in Canada accredited to ISO 14065:2020 and ISO 17029: 2019 and is the sixth in Canada accredited to ISO 14065:2013. This accreditation will give Standard Carbon the ability to issue GHG validation and verification statements, which is a key part of creating carbon offsets. The accreditation is recognized internationally, and allows the company to participate in the carbon markets.
