Interim Certification Requirements for Flexible Light Cable Systems

CSA International prepared this Technical Information Letter (T.I.L.) to deal with the safety of flexible light cable systems that include components such as flexible light cables, decorative lighting outfits incorporating flexible light cables, and controller units for use in dry, damp or wet locations. These flexible light cable systems are intended to cord connection with attachment plug to branch circuits operating at no more than 150 volts-to-ground in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I.
