This Technical Information Letter (T.I.L.) has been prepared to amend the calculation periods for low temperature ventilation performance and low temperature thermal performance tests from 12 hours to 60 hours described in CAN/CSA C439-09 (reaffirmed 2014). This is done in order to harmonize with Canadian Energy Star program requirements for HRVs version 2.0 developed by Natural Resources of Canada (NRCan).
