Interim Certification Requirements for insulation displacement (IDC) type terminations used in special-use connectors

At the request of industry, the requirements in this TIL have been developed to allow certification of terminations for special-use, known as Insulation Displacement (IDC) connectors. These types of terminations are presently used in other products such as general use switches and receptacles. This TIL is based on requirements from CSA standards C22.2 No.111 and 42 with slight modifications for IDC (Pin Type) terminations used for special use connectors.
