The Scope of Accreditation (SOA) shall be updated to reflect the latest applicable label design and content accordingly.

Background
The CSA B149.3:20 code has a new title: Code for the field approval of fuel-burning appliances and equipment. The code was also expanded to include different types of fuels that may be covered, which is reflected in the updated statement required for the inspection label.
As such, the SCC Requirements and Guidance for the Inspection Body Accreditation Program document was also updated to reflect this change.
New requirements

New statement for inspection labels: “Fuel-Burning safety evaluation based on Canadian code requirements” and “Évaluation de la sécurité de la combustion de carburant basée sur les exigences des codes canadiens”.
Previous statement for inspection labels: “Gas safety evaluation based on Canadian code requirements” and “Évaluation de la sécurité gazière basée sur les exigences des codes canadiens”.
Deadline
All IBs accredited to CSA B149.3 shall update their inspection labels to reflect the new statement by July 1st, 2023, or when their current printed label stock is depleted, whichever comes first.
