SCC Requirements and Guidance for Method Validation in Testing Laboratories
Action required
Effective immediately, all laboratories must now refer to SCC Requirements and Guidance for Method Validation in Testing Laboratories and cease referring to CAN-P-1629 PALCAN Guidance For The Validation Of Test Methods – November 2006.
Affected customers
This change affects accredited and applicant laboratories, as well as SCC assessors.
Background
This change was made as part of SCC’s overall QMS modernization project.
New requirements
The content of the guidelines have not changed, only the formatting has been updated to be consistent with SCC’s approach for these documents. References have also been updated.
Deadline
This change is effective immediately. Customers are asked to update their documentation as soon as possible.
