Dianne Salt is an award winning communications professional with over 35 years of experience managing reputational risk, deepening employee engagement and growing brand value. A seasoned business executive with global experience in public affairs, communications, social media, crisis communications, change management and corporate responsibility, Dianne has a proven record of managing large, diverse teams across multiple geographies, setting strategic priorities and delivering business results.
 

Dianne began her career in the public sector in communications roles at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, the House of Commons and the Senate of Canada.  She joined TD Bank Group in 2001, eventually assuming the role of Senior Vice President Corporate and Public Affairs, responsible for internal and external Communications, government relations, charitable giving, corporate responsibility and social media. 
 

In 2013 Dianne moved to the Royal Bank of Canada. As the Senior Vice President Communications, she was responsible for leading a global team providing strategic communications and social media advice in support of a broad range of businesses including personal and commercial banking, wealth management, insurance, investor services and capital markets. 
 

From 2017 to 2021, Dianne was the Chief Communications Officer and a member of the Group Executive team of Sodexo S.A., a publicly-traded company specializing in food services, facilities management and employee benefit solutions, serving100 million consumers daily. Based in Paris, France, she led the global team responsible for the company’s strategy and positioning on employee communications, social media, media relations and financial communications, among other activities. 
 

Passionate about diversity and inclusion, Dianne was Co-Executive Sponsor of Sodexo’s Disability Voice Taskforce Network and a member of the Executive Diversity Committee at both RBC and TD. She was previously a Board Member of the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council, Cancer Care Ontario and The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Museum Foundation. 
 

Dianne holds an Honours Bachelor of Journalism degree with a minor in French Literature from Carleton University. She is an Accredited Public Relations professional and is fluently bilingual.
