Dominique Dallaire

Vice-President, Culture and Chief Human Resources Officer

Dominique Dallaire joined SCC in November 2015 as Chief Human Resources Officer. With 30 years of experience in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, Ms. Dallaire brings valuable expertise in organizational development and HR operations. Her career has focused on leadership development, emotional intelligence, team building, conflict resolution and strategies to develop a high performance and learning culture.


Prior to SCC, Ms. Dallaire held leadership roles at the Medical Council of Canada. As a senior consultant for 20 years, she helped private and public sector organizations develop healthy organizational cultures with a focus on leadership development, effective interpersonal communication and coaching.


She was a member of the Board of Directors for the Tewegan Housing for Aboriginal Youth for 13 years. 


Ms. Dallaire has an Honours degree in International and Comparative Politics from the University of Ottawa. She holds Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) and Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designations from the Human Resources Professionals Association. She earned a Management Certificate in Human Resources from Carleton University and an Advanced Executive Certificate in Human Resources Management from the Queen’s University School of Business.
