Annie Roy

Annie Roy joined SCC in July 2019 and now serves as Chief Communications Officer. Ms. Roy has over 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors. She brings invaluable expertise in communications, marketing, public affairs, community relations, public outreach, stakeholder engagement and issues management.

Before joining SCC, Ms. Roy worked at the National Research Council of Canada for 6 years, where she served as Director, Public Affairs and Manager, Communications. Ms. Roy held multiple roles during her 5 years at the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency, including advising the panel on communications matters for the Enbridge Northern Gateway Project. She also held positions in public relations and market development at Hydro-Québec. 

Ms. Roy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from the Université de Sherbrooke. She has a Master’s in Public Administration from l’École nationale d’administration publique.
