Environmental testing - Part 5-2: Guide to drafting of test methods - Terms and definitions
Defines terms used in the environmental testing of electrotechnical products such as components, sub-assemblies, assemblies and equipments. The environmental conditions include shock and vibration, climatic (temperature, humidity and air pressure), sealing (against ingress of solids, liquids and gases or to maintain a pressure difference), soldering heat (including thermal shock from soldering).
Medical Electrical Equipment Part 1: General Requirements for Safety
This National Standard of Canada is based on International Standard IEC 601-1:1988.
NOTE - Amendment 2:1998 to this document was reaffirmed November 10, 2006.
It applies to the safety of MEDICAL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT (as defined in
Sub-Clause 2.2.15) designed to be installed and used in accordance with the
rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. Although this Standard is

This National Standard of Canada is based on International Standard IEC 601-2-4:1983.
1 Scope
This Particular Standard specifies requirements for the safety of CARDIAC DEFIBRILLATORS and CARDIAC DEFIBRILLATOR-MONITORS as defined in Sub-clauses 2.1.101 and 2.1.102, hereinafter referred to as EQUIPMENT, incorporating a capacitive energy storage device and which are designed to be installed…
Nickel-based alloys — Determination of resistance to intergranular corrosion
Includes four methods: iron(III) sulfate - sulfuric acid test, copper - copper-sulfate - sulfuric acid test, hydrochloric acid test and nitric acid test. ISO 9400 defines the term nickel-based alloy. Specifies apparatus, test specimens, procedure and evaluation.
Non-broadcast video tape recorders. Methods of measurement - Part1: General, video (NTSC/PAL) and au...
Deals with the assessment of the performance of non-broadcast video tape recorders of the so-called colour-under type for domestic use. Defines test signals, measurement set-ups and measurement conditions so as to make possible the comparison of the results of measurements.
Soft soldering fluxes — Test methods — Part 1: Determination of non-volatile matter, gravimetric met...
Specifies a gravimetric method for the determination of the content of non-volatile matter in soft soldering fluxes. Applies to liquid and paste fluxes of type 1, as defined in ISO 9454-1.
1. Scope
1.1
This Standard specifies kickback requirements for gasoline-powered chain saws,
80 cm³ (4.88 cubic inches) engine displacement and smaller, Classes 1A, 1B, and
1C, and electric-powered chain saws Classes 2A and 2C, as defined in CSa
Standard CAN3-Z62.1.
1.2
This Standard also specifies kickback requirements for saw chains.
