Rubber latex — Styrene-butadiene — Determination of bound styrene content
Specifies a method for the determination of the bound styrene content of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) latices. Applicable to hot emulsion polymerized SBR latices having a bound styrene content of up to 55 % and to cold emulsion polymerized SBR latices having a bound styrene content between 18 and 40 %. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (1975).
Chlorofluorinated hydrocarbons — Determination of water content — Gravimetric method
Covers a method applicable to products having water contents in the range between 2 and 100 mg/kg. Uses a principle consisting in the passage of a vaporized test portion through two weighed absoprtion tubes containing a phosphorus(V) oxide absorption mixture, and calculation of the water content from the increase in mass of the absorption tubes.
Surface active agents — Determination of mineral sulfate content — Titrimetric method
A buffered acetonic solution of a test portion is titrated with a standard volumetric lead(II) nitrate solution in the presence of dithizone as indicator. The method is applicable to anionic surface active agents, containing sodium, ammonium and alkanolamine sulphates. It is not applicable to products containing other compounds such as phosphates or large amounts of chloride nor is it applicable…
Fixed resistors for use in electronic equipment. Part 6: Blank detail specification: Fixed resistor ...
Applies to fixed resistor networks with individually measurable
resistors, of either different resistance values or different rated
dissipations. The blank detail specification is a supplementary
document to the sectional specification and contains requirements
for style, layout and minimum content of detail specifications.
