Textile Test Methods Textiles - Designation of the Direction of Twist in Yarns and Related Products
This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International
Standard ISO 2-1973. It specifies the method of designating the
direction of twist in textile yarns. It is applicable to yarn
intermediates such as slivers, slubbings, or rovings; to single
yarns, plied yarns, cabled yarns; and to threads, twine, cordage
and rope.
Textile Test Methods Textiles - Determination of Twist in Yarns - Direct
Counting Method
This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International Standard ISO 2061-1972.
It specifies a method for the
determination of the direction of twist in yarns, the amount of
twist in terms of turns per unit length and change in length on
untwisting, by the direct counting method.
This National Standard of Canada is identical to American National Standard
ANSI/BHMA A156.15-1981.
1.1
This Standard establishes requirements for door closers combined with hold-open
devices or free-swinging door closers combined with releasing devices and
includes performance tests covering operational, cyclical and finish criteria.
1.2
Tests described in this Standard are performed…
This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to American
National Standard ANSI/BHMA A156.19-1984 in total, without any
modification. Requirements in this Standard apply to power
assist doors, low energy power operated doors or low energy power
open doors for pedestrian use and not provided for in ANSi
A156.10 (BHMA 1601). Included are provisions intended to reduce
the chance of user…

This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International Standard ISO 105/X11-1987.
This part of ISO 105 specifies a method for determining the resistance of the colour of textiles of all kinds and in all forms to ironing and to processing on hot cylinders.

This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International
Standard ISO 7211/4-1984. This part of ISO 7211 specifies a
method for the determination of twist in yarns removed from woven
fabrics. The method is only applicable to yarns spun on
conventional systems, and is not applicable to OE (open-end spun)
or interlaced yarns, for example.
Micrographics - Diazo and Vesicular Films - Visual Density - Specifications
This National Standard of Canada consists of the adoption of
International Standard ISO 8126-1986. Changes, as explained in
the Preface to this National Standard, have been made to section
4 of ISO 8126. It specifies a method for measuring the diffuse
visual density of diazo films and the projection visual density
of vesicular films. It also determines density values of second
generation…

This National Standard of Canada is equivalent to International
Standard ISO 7211/2-1984. It specifies three methods for the
determination of the number of threads per centimetre in woven
fabrics. Any of the three methods may be used, the choice
depending on the character of the fabric.
