1. Scope
1.1 This standard applied to screw type micrometer calipers for measuring
external and internal dimensions, thickness of tubing walls, and to
micrometer depth gages. Calipers and gages in accordance with this
standard shall be graduated with the International System of
Measurement (SI) Units.
